A Tiny Harvest

Last week, we went to do some work in our garden (after slacking off for a couple of weeks thanks to a pretty extreme heat wave). After about an hour of weeding (it was pretty out of control), we actually managed to do a bit of harvesting! In the next week or two, we should have some serious tomatoes ready to pick, so our next project will be a big batch of tomato sauce!

Pre-weeding – yikes!

Gathering up some swiss chard.

Yellow beans, jalapenos, Hungarian hot wax peppers, a giant carrot, an eggplant, and one tiny cherry tomato!

This swiss chard has been continually producing since June!

The garden looking quite a bit happier after some weeding.
